About the tour
Amazing Grace Presents:
Bre Kennedy, Allman Brown & James Riley
BRE KENNEDY
Singer-songwriter Bre Kennedy creates music soaked in rich, timeless storytelling with innate pop sensibilities. Influenced by mesmerizing talents like Brandi Carlile, Fleetwood Mac, and Bonnie Raitt, Kennedy’s delicate, raspy sound soars as she touches on profound themes around life’s messy moments. Kennedy reveals, “I usually try to have a smile on when it comes to talking about the mess of being human.” Kennedy grew up in a musical household, taking in the greats like Tom Petty, Heart, Aretha Franklin, and Carole King. She began playing shows at prominent Nashville venues like The 5 Spot and The Basement, where she caught the attention of industry and fans alike.
Over the past couple of years, Kennedy has cemented herself as an artist to watch and one of the brightest voices out of the New Nashville music scene selling out headlining shows, performing at festivals like Bonnarroo and Live On The Green as well as supporting renowned artists as Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr., Joy Oladokun and the Paper Kites. Kennedy has caught the attention of outlets like Billboard, Paste, American Songwriter and Atwood with her EP’s “Jealous Of Birds” and “Twenty Something” and her album “Note To Self”. 2021, Kennedy signed to her first label Nettwerk Music Group and is currently readying to release her new album November 2023.
ALLMAN BROWN
Allman Brown is a London, UK based singer-songwriter influenced by classic artists of the genre: Bon Iver, Paul Simon, Tracy Chapman and Feist. He has released two studio albums – 1000 Years (2017) and Darling, It’ll Be Alright (2019) – and has performed headline tours of the UK, Ireland, continental Europe, Asia and North America off the back of his streaming success and regular placements on US TV shows such as The Good Doctor, Station 19, Criminal Minds and Suits.
In 2019, he was invited to open for Dido on her tour of the UK and Ireland, and his single ‘Dust & Heat’ was playlisted on BBC Radio 2 in the UK and RTE Radio 1 in Ireland. New music is scheduled for release in 2023.
JAMES RILEY
Fusing joyful, anthemic songwriting with lucidly poetic storytelling, Anglo-American troubadour (and sometime rooftop balladeer) James Riley delivers his music with a disarmingly candid folk voice.
When lockdown meant the release tour for his 2020 debut album ‘Transatlantica’ was cancelled, James started playing livestreamed concerts from his roof in North London. The rooftop concerts continued weekly throughout 2020-21, receiving coverage from the BBC and funding from the Arts Council, whilst raising £45k for food banks and inspiring a giant mural.
Now back on conventional stages and with a new EP set for release in 2023,
the past 18 months have been replete with gigs & festivals including The Great Escape, Wilderness and Glastonbury.
