Amazing Grace x Havana Club Present:
Time to Shrine: Pat, Apostol, VNXI
Time To Shrine is a music showcase, curated by Amazing Grace in collaboration with Havana Club.
Together we are working with and welcoming major talent agencies to bring the best new talent to our stage. Time to Shrine features a selection of London’s top up and coming musicians, singers, and song writers.
This event, along side fantastic music, will showcase stunning 3D mapping projections, bespoke cocktails, talks, and a give away competition. This month we are featuring the incredible talent of:
Polish born rapper Pat delivers bars and flows that paint a picture of a thoughtful and introspective, yet playful Artist.
His lyrics explore themes that many will relate to, providing fresh perspectives on familiar situations and stories.
Pat’s vocals are set over production that draws on his diverse range of influences; Rooted in hip-hop with flourishes borrowed from pop, indie and soul.
Pat moved to the UK from Poland at the age of 7 and was immediately fascinated by the culture he found himself immersed in.
The sounds of grime and UK rap captured Pat’s imagination, and he began to draw on the lyricism of JME and Devlin to develop his ability to speak and understand English.
This inspiration soon led Pat to recreate the rhymes and bars he was hearing, and throughout his time at school he could be found writing lyrics in school planners and notebooks.
Pat’s development as a rapper and writer has gone hand-in-hand with his own personal development, drawing on varied experiences in order to pen lyrics that put across his unique perspective and reflect on culture, family, and day-to-day life.
Pat’s lyrics demonstrate the beauty that exists within the mundane, and often wrap complex ideas and feelings in to simple and moving metaphors.
Apostol, has over 1 million streams on Spotify for his single “Found it all”, supported by the BBC introducing London during 2019.
Now the Kent- based singer-songwriter Apostol is back with a recent E.P release called ‘Satori’, a unique take on soul with slight undertones of R’n’b, Gospel, Jazz, early rock and indie. Also heard on BBC Introducing Kent.
A distinctive refreshing voice blending smoothness and power that will surely captivate your attention, a moving experience; inspired by the legendary artists such as Marvin Gaye, Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin and more.
VNXI native Dublin naturally imparts grit upon its denizens. Instead of sugarcoating or pandering, they shoot straight from the hip without pretense or posturing. As the largest city and the capital of Ireland, its streets have given rise to everyone from Thin Lizzy to U2 who fought to be heard and left a mark on music worldwide.
VNXI embody this uncompromising, undeniable, and unbreakable spirit. The Dublin quartet—Kurtis Wade Murphy [lead vocals, acoustic guitar], Noely Musgrave [bass, synth], Andy L’Estrange [lead guitar, keys], and Leo Cassandro [drums]—craft cinematic rock uplifted by pop ambition, soundtrack-worthy sonic architecture, and good old-fashioned hometown authenticity.
Growing up, the members of VNXI initially forged lifelong friendships. After gaining traction at home, the
band crossed the pond and delivered a showstopping performance at the 14th annual Oscar Wilde Awards , earning acclaim from The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard.
Selling out shows back in Ireland, they continued to write and record, honing an identifiable and irresistible signature style meant to invoke sight just as much as sound.
In the end, the group’s honesty will distinguish them for a long time
to come. “The music is a reflection of who we authentically are,” Kurtis leaves off. “We aren’t trying to sell anything. We just want people to connect with the music.
Music saved us in a lot of ways and has added so much value to our lives that we want our music to do the same thing for others.” Now, VNXI arrive with the single “Lions” in 2023.
