About the tour
Amazing Grace x Havana Club Present:
Time to Shrine: Piper Grace X Meron Addis X Loie
Time To Shrine is a music showcase, curated by Amazing Grace in collaboration with Havana Club.
Together we are working with and welcoming major talent agencies to bring the best new talent to our stage. Time to Shrine features a selection of London’s top up and coming musicians, singers, and song writers.
This event, along side fantastic music, will showcase stunning 3D mapping projections, bespoke cocktails, talks, and a give away competition. This month we are featuring the incredible talent of:
Piper Grace was raised in the quiet reaches of South West England, with Rihanna and Nina Simone providing sonic detail to her childhood, it was no surprise Piper-Grace was already singing at the tender age of 2. Her offering is soulful, sultry RnB, providing a personal and vulnerable outlook on the intricacies of young love. With a career & life that’s taken her from Capetown to London – and everywhere in between – her unique perspective is one that resonates with all young people navigating through life in the modern day.
Meron Addis was born and raised in London but remained close to her Ethiopian heritage. Meron has absorbed many musical resonances and life perspectives that have shaped the artist and person she is today.
With the release of her latest 2021 project “Feel But Don’t Touch” featuring singles “Real Thing”, “So Long” and “Sight of Me”, Meron continues to sonically blossom and
demonstrate her skill as both a vocalist and a songwriter. Her striking new singles, starting with “Don’t Prove me Wrong” with “Ocean” completed her 2022 releases, show her cementing her signature refreshing yet reminiscent r&b sound alongside relatable lyrics.
As well as receiving support from international and national radio stations including Radio 1’s Rickie, Melvin & Charlie, and BBC 1xtra’s Jamz Supernova, she has regularly featured on editorial playlists on various streaming platforms and is a recent PRS for music momentum grant recipient. Her talent has also received praise from acclaimed publications such as wonderland mag, notion, and more.
Whilst her name emerges in the UK R&B sphere, the songstress’ effortless combination of nostalgic melodies and fresh production has also gained a growing audience of loyal listeners in different parts of the world.
Loie’s musical journey began as a songwriter before launching her into her artistry career just last year. Her music has been influenced by a combination of her culturally enriched upbringing, being born and raised in Brixton with mixed family hertitage of Trini-Chinese, her creative background and some of world’s most iconic female artists such as Jill Scott, Nina Simone, Lauryn Hill, Kate Bush and Eva Cassidy.
Her seductive and somewhat surreal sounds are a combination of soulful R&B grooves intertwined with Jazz undertones and playful pop music.
2021 saw Loie release her debut single, Take You There, produced by the phenomenal Kadiata and is starting her journey with a string of singles produced by some of the UK’s most talented, so keep an eye out for this future female icon.
